Andy Warhol’s Life (Aug 06, 1928 - Feb 22, 1987 (Age 58))
Andy Warhol was one of the most successful and prolific illustrators in his time. During the Pop art movements in 1960s, he became a leading artist who use hand drawing, printmaking, photography and many more. In the same years, his works that explore the relationship between artistic expression and celebrity culture had flourished. As a successful ad and magazine illustrator, he became a controversial and renowned artist who had shown flexibility and versatility in all things he was passionate to do. He really deserves to be known and recognized as one of the best.

Aside from being involved in art and photography, he became a manager and a producer of The Velvet Underground which was a rock band that has been influenced by the punk rock music evolution. Even though he had a hectic schedule, he had enough amount of time to be the talented founder of the Interview magazine and amazing author of many books such as Popism: The Warhol Sixties, The Philosophy of Andy Warhol, etc.
As an awesome artist and photographer, he was also able to write, manage, lead and produce that made him a flexible person. He is a good role model to many people that can make them motivated and inspired to achieve success in their chosen track.

Andy Warhol was a notable gay man because he lived openly. He joined the gay liberation movement and coined the prevalently used expression “15 minutes of fame”. He had also been the subject of a variety of documentary and feature films, retrospective exhibitions and books. With his popularity, there is no doubt that he had been recognized by many people including the LGBT community.

If you want to see his gallery, you can visit The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (his native city). It holds a collection of archives and art which is considered as the largest museum all throughout the United States. It aims to recognize Andy Warhol for having many contributions to art and photography. Being a magnificent and excellent artist, most of his creations are highly valuable and very collectible. As a matter of fact, the highest price for his painting is US$105 million.

Death and legacy
At the age of 58, he died that shocked the entire world. His art is known for being infused with homoerotic motifs and imagery. His paintings of celebrity faces and distorted brand images could be interpreted as a critique of what he considered as a culture obsessed with celebrity and money. Though he had passed away a few years ago, he would remain in everyone’s heart because he was a great man and artist.
